Thank you to AmCham's 2023 President Séamus Fives.

As we approach the end of 2023, on behalf of all our members we extend our sincere thanks to AmCham's 2023 President Séamus Fives.  

Séamus carried out this role alongside his position as the Vice President of API Manufacturing Operations at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Séamus has previously held the role of Chair of AmCham's Southern region. In 2022 Séamus served as the Vice President of the Chamber.

Séamus has advocated for AmCham members throughout his presidency through engagements with government leaders and key stakeholders in Ireland, the US and the EU. Throughout his presidency Séamus continuously ensured Ireland was highlighted as a top location of choice for business and talent emphasising the benefits the US-Ireland business relationship.

Séamus led AmCham through an incredible year of US investment in Ireland, there are now 950 US multinationals located in Ireland, employing more than 209,000 people directly and a further 167,000 people indirectly.

Thank you Séamus, for your excellent leadership throughout your 2023 Presidency.   

Incoming 2024 AmCham President is Elaine Murphy VP and Site Lead of Ireland Operations at Signify Health. She is currently AmCham’s 2023 Vice President and was previously the head of AmCham’s finance committee. Elaine will continue to promote the two-way trade and investment relationship between Ireland and the United States.
