Calls for Changes for Remote Working Legislation

This week the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment faced renewed calls to change its proposed law on remote working. 

It comes as earlier this year the Government published the General Scheme of legislation on the right to request remote work. 

Remote working representative bodies this week told the Joint Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment that employers who are unable to offer remote working run the risk of losing talent to fast-growing global companies.
