AmCham Responds to Public Consultation on the CRU's National Energy Demand Strategy

AmCham welcomes the opportunity to respond to the Commission for Regulation of Utilities’ public consultation on the National Energy Demands Strataegy.

AmCham recognises that efforts must be accelerated if Ireland is to reach its goals of a 51% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050.

Significant progress needs to be made in a relatively short space of time, and AmCham has continuously stressed the need for action in this area to ensure that Ireland meets its targets.
