AmCham Meets with Minister Paschal Donohoe TD and Minister Jack Chambers TD Ahead of Budget 2026
AmCham met with Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe, and Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, Jack Chambers this week to discuss the priorities of the US business community in Ireland ahead of Budget 2026.
It follows the launch of AmCham’s 2026 Pre-Budget Submission, ‘Ireland 2026: Bridging Economies, Leading Change – Pioneering Prosperity in the Transatlantic Relationship’, earlier this month.
The conversation focused on the key investment and policy changes that AmCham has advocated for in its Budget submission in areas including housing and planning, transport delivery, energy and water, skills development, research excellence, taxation and digital transformation.
AmCham’s 2026 Budget Submission, ‘Ireland 2026: Bridging Economies, Leading Change – Pioneering Prosperity in the Transatlantic Relationship’, sets out a roadmap for: Bridging Ireland’s Infrastructure Gap; Leading on the Green Transition; Attracting, Retaining and Developing Talent in Critical Skills Areas; Driving Research and Innovation; Ensuring a Competitive Tax Framework; and Leading on Digital Transformation and Cyber Security. You can read the full submission online here.
We look forward to continued engagement with Government on behalf of members ahead of Budget 2026, to ensure Ireland remains a preeminent destination for inward investment into the future.
