AmCham Attends Roundtable with An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce Suzanne Clarke

AmCham President Seamus Fives and AmCham CEO Mark Redmond were delighted to attend a keynote address and roundtable event with An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, and CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce Suzanne Clarke in Washington DC on Tuesday. 

Speaking at the event, which was hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce, the Taoiseach highlighted the importance of the two-way US-Ireland trade and investment relationship, with almost 1,000 US multinationals in Ireland directly employing over 200,000 people and Ireland being the 9th largest source of FDI in Ireland. 

The Taoiseach told attendees that the Irish Government is committed to continuing to promote the importance of US FDI for Ireland and ensuring that Ireland remains a top location of choice for business and talent.
