Ambassador Anne Anderson to be honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award The American Chamber of Commerce Ireland is delighted to announce that Irish Ambassador to the United States, Her Excellency Anne Anderson, will receive the Chamber’s Lifetime Achievement Award 2017. Ambassador Anderson is being honoured for her contribution to strengthening the US-Ireland relationship and will accept the honour at a special presentation this November.  

The Chamber is honouring Ambassador Anderson for her outstanding service as Ambassador to the United States – and for her distinguished service over an accomplished career that included postings as Ambassador at the United Nations (both in Geneva and New York), Paris, and the European Union in Brussels.

The Award will be presented at the American Chamber’s Thanksgiving Lunch on 23 November 2017 in Dublin. The event is the largest gathering of Chamber members and guests hosted annually.

Speaking at the announcement Chamber President James O’Connor said:

“We extend our warmest congratulations to Ambassador Anderson as the 2017 recipient of the Chamber’s Lifetime Achievement Award. The Chamber Board are delighted to have this opportunity to thank Ambassador Anderson for her outstanding contribution to US-Ireland relations and to honour her distinguished service throughout such an accomplished career. We look forward to welcoming her as a guest of honour to our Thanksgiving Lunch in November.”
 
The Chamber’s Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual who has made a significant contribution to strengthening the US-Ireland relationship.
