Due to unprecedented demand we have arranged a second SEPA briefing for the 17th May as follows:
The Single Euro Payments Area (or SEPA for short) is a European Union regulation that will simplify financial transactions and make doing business easier. It will apply across 32 European Countries, including Ireland.
All businesses must be ready for SEPA, as all existing national systems will close on 1 February 2014. You will need to ensure that your pay-roll, direct debit and accounting systems are SEPA ready before 1 February 2014 so that you are able to make euro electronic payments after that date.
You are cordially invited to a briefing with:

Driving Strategic Development through Systemic Innovation - How can you use innovation to drive strategic development in your organisation?
Over the past number of years multi-national subsidiaries in Ireland have taken on board the challenges of securing mandates, moving up the value chain and becoming an increasingly important and influential part of the wider corporation, many creatively using the Molloy-Delany ideas & tools from the ‘Blue Book' to become major players within their respective corporations.
Since the original publication of the ‘Blue Book' in 1997, the ideas and tools, which are the foundation of much current strategy, have been significantly refined and enriched, particularly with state-of-the-art materials on Systemic Innovation.
Join Rosemaree Danaher, IBM Ireland Strategy & Integration Manager; Ciaran Ennis, who played a central role in IBM Ireland's evolution from a 250 person sales operation to today's high tech employer of 4000 people; and Dr Eddie Molloy and Dr Ed Delany, co-authors of the Molloy-Delany ‘Blue Book', as they illustrate the application of these ideas with concrete examples from leading subsidiary companies in Ireland.

As a mark of respect, following the tragic death of Rita Rooney Conway, daughter of Ambassador and Mrs Rooney, The American Chamber of Commerce is cancelling our Christmas Drinks Reception which was scheduled to take place at the Ambassador's Residence on Thursday 13th December at 6pm.
I know all our members join me in offering our sincere condolences to our Ambassador, Mrs Rooney and all their family on the loss of their beloved daughter, Rita.

Launch of the American Chamber's 2012 Irish-US Economic Relationship Report

We are delighted to invite you to attend briefing to launch the American Chamber's 2012 Irish- US Economic Relationship Report. The launch takes place on Thursday, October 4th in the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin.
The report, which is a follow up to the highly successful Built to Last will present, in quantitative terms, the economic impact of US-Ireland trade and investment relationship. It will be the preeminent and authoritative statement on the state of this relationship and will reflect the latest data on US-Ireland trade and investment flows and consider these facts in the context of Ireland's current economic position.
This briefing will be attended by CEOs of Chamber members, government officials and management of key government agencies. It will see the 2012 Report launched by a senior government minister will also consist of a presentation from the author, and a panel discussion comprised of senior stakeholders in global FDI.
