Regional Awards

The “Cairdeas"(Friendship) Award and  the "Créafóg" (Earth) Awards

 
Two innovative and prestigious awards will be presented on behalf of American Chamber members in the Western/North Western Region; the Southern Region: and the Mid-West Region this year.
 
 
The American Chamber Cairdeas Award 

'The word 'Cairdeas' means friendship in Irish. This award will be presented to an individual or organisation in the region which has strongly demonstrated community impact.

The American Chamber Créafóg Award

The word 'Créafóg' means earth in Irish. This award will be presented to an American Chamber member company that has demonstrated exemplary commitment and real excellence in terms of sustainability & environmental awareness.
 

Click on the links below to make nominations in either award category for:

West & North Western Region: Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Donegal, Roscommon, Longford, or Leitrim.

Southern Region: Cork, Kerry, Waterford or South Tipperary

Mid-West Region: Limerick, Shannon, Clare and North Tipperary
 
The Western/North Western Awards will be presented in Galway on the 17th June at the President's Dinner  in National University Ireland Galway (NUIG).  The dinner will be preceded by AmCham’s annual US-Ireland Business Perspectives Address which this year will be given by James Lyons of Boston Scientific.
 
The Southern Region Awards will be presented in Cork on the 26th September at the President's Dinner in the Maryborough Hotel,  Cork  The dinner will be preceded by a major half day conference that day on the US-Ireland Business relationship in University College Cork.
 
And in the Mid-West Region the Awards will be presented at the President's Dinner in Limerick on the 10th October 2019 in Adare Manor.
