San Francisco based Software Company Slack has moved its European Headquarters to One Park Place in Dublin and announced it will be hiring for 80 new jobs over the next two years to meet growing demand from European businesses.
Slack makes a messaging app which helps teams within businesses and organisations to collaborate and communicate more easily. “Customer growth and adoption across all markets in Europe are driving the growth of our team and operations in Dublin,” explained James Sherrett, Slack’s Dublin-based senior manager of accounts. “We are the fastest growing business application in history. Our user base grew tenfold last year and we’re seeing strong demand across all industries and from businesses of all sizes, for more efficient and effective team communications.”
Slack will bring its total workforce in Ireland to 180 by the end of 2017.
