US Commercial Service in Dublin
The US Commercial Service is your “global business partner.” As an agency under the US Department of Commerce, Commercial Service Dublin connects to more than 100 Export Assistance Centers withinthe United States and over 150 offices in US Embassies and Consulates around the world to serve the American business community.
At the US Embassy Dublin, US Commercial Service staff protect American business interests and promote the export of US goods and services to Ireland, especially for smaller and medium-sized firms. These professionals offer business counseling and a wide range of tailored services to assist American firms in identifying business opportunities and potential business partners in Ireland. They also promote Ireland as a location for US firms to access the larger European marketplace. In addition,the Embassy staff assists Irish companies that seek to partner with American companies in the areas of distribution of American products or the establishment of strategic alliances such as joint ventures,technology transfer or licensing agreements in Ireland and beyond—in part as an excellent doorway to Europe through our continental USCS offices beyond Ireland.
The US Commercial Service here works in close cooperation with the Irish economic development agencies as well as local chambers of commerce, industry and trade associations. Through these cooperative efforts, our staff can offer a wide variety of services to assist US companies in entering the market and Irish firms in locating and importing US products and services. While some services are fee-based, others are provided free of charge.

Council of American States in Europe (CASE)
The Council of American States in Europe is comprised of 22 U.S. State offices maintaining full-time offices in Europe. CASE is a gateway for European firms into the United States of America. CASE is the official organization in Europe for answering questions and setting up partner organisations with the goal of creating or expanding business contacts in the U.S.A. Acting as a business intelligence clearinghouse, the members of the CASE network are the European representative offices of individual U.S. state governments.

THE AMERICAN CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE ABROAD (AMCHAMS)
The American Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AmChams) advances the interests of American business overseas. They are voluntary associations of American companies and individuals doingbusiness in a particular country, as well as firms and individuals of that country who operate in theUnited States. Currently, 100 AmChams in 91 countries are affiliated with the US Chamber of Commerce.
AmChams pursue trade policy initiatives, make available publications and services, and sponsor a variety of business development programs. Through four regional organizations in Asia, Europe (European Council of American Chambers of Commerce), the Gulf Countries, and Latin America / theCaribbean, the AmChams represent the concerns and interests of the business community at thehighest levels of Government and business in trade policy development.
