The Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), US Residence, Phoenix Park

The Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) and the U.S. Embassy Dublin are reconstituting the Ireland OSAC Council.  To kick off, there will be a re-launch meeting in Dublin, to discuss future plans, and initiatives for the Ireland Country Council.

The Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) is a Federal Advisory Committee with a U.S. Government Charter to promote security cooperation between American business and private sector interests worldwide and the U.S. Department of State. OSAC currently encompasses the 34-member core Council, an Executive Office, over 100 Country Councils, and more than 3,500 constituent member organizations and 372 associates.

This is not a general membership meeting, but rather a meeting to identify active participants and develop the framework for the Council.

If you have interests in Ireland and would like to have your company represented on the Ireland Council and/or play a key role in getting an OSAC council, please have your security representative contact OSAC's Western Europe Coordinator Wes Gould at gouldcw@state.gov, or call 571-345-2232.

Please feel free to forward this invitation to any OSAC or U.S. private sector colleague that may want to participate.

The Country Council meeting will be held at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence in Phoenix Park on April 28 from 1400-1600.  Please RSVP to either Wes Gould at gouldcw@state.gov or Matt Dumpert at dumpertmj@state.gov.
