AmCham Programme for Women in Global Organisations

The first of a three-part Peer Learning and Mentoring Programme, initiated through the American Chamber Network for Women in Global Organisations. In this initial session participants will explore the challenges faced by women when it comes to influence; discuss tools and strategies that can affect the attitude and behaviours of those around them; and develop greater personal understanding of the impact of these skills and how they may be applied to build resilience, step into the spotlight and perform more effectively in the workplace.

The morning will be led by Dr Geil Browning, Ph.D., who joins us from the USA and is founder of Emergenetics International and creator of the Emergenetics Profile. Dr. Browning was recognized by the Denver Business Journal in 2003 as Colorado's Outstanding Entrepreneurial Businesswomen of the Year. Every year since 2011  Emergenetics International has been named  Inc. Magazine’s 500/5000 list of “Fastest Growing Businesses in America.” Additionally, Geil founded the 35 year old Institute of Career Advancement Needs (ICAN, Inc.), which sponsors Influence and Focus; two highly acclaimed executive development programs that have graduated over 2500 participants in senior management positions worldwide.

The other sessions in this series ‘Influence, Persuasion & Control’ will take place on the 4th October 2017 and the 10th January 2018. It is expected that in signing up for this session that participnts aim to attend all three. To maximise cross sector peer learning attendees will be assigned to the same work group at each session.
