Citrix add 50 jobs to Dublin Operation
The American Chamber of Commerce Ireland has welcomed today's news that Citrix Systems Ireland, the headquarters of Citrix Customer Technical Support is increasing its workforce by up to 50 full time employees.
Speaking on the announcement American Chamber Chief Executive, Joanne Richardson said, "Citrix have been a valuable employer in Dublin since 1999, and it is extremely welcome that they have created a further 50 jobs for Ireland. This comes in addition to a similar expansion in the Spring of last year. Such high calibre investments are welcome endorsements in Ireland as a location for Foreign Direct Investment, and the entire team at Citrix should be congratulated for their success.
"Citrix is the latest of many US companies that have announced new employment opportunities in Ireland this year, with US companies currently recruiting over 2,000 vacancies," stated Richardson. "The 600 US companies here continue to play a vital role in Ireland's economy, employing 100,000 directly, and have a total investment in Ireland of $190 billion.
