Temporary Agency Workers Directive
The American Chamber's submission focuses on the scope of the legislation, the definition of equal treatment and specific requests on the qualifying period, comparator pay, dispute resolution, career opportunities and the cost of compliance. Given that the deadline for its implementation is by the end of 2011, the membership of the American Chamber believes that engagement with the Department on this issue is critical.
This submission was made by the American Chamber of Commerce Ireland in response to the Department of Enterprise Trade & Innovation's Consultation Paper on the transposition into Irish law of the EU Directive on Temporary Agency Work.
