Amcham Charity of the Year Programme

American Chamber Charity of the Year Programme


The American Chamber of Commerce chooses one Charity to support annually, initially
with a donation given by the chamber on behalf of each attendee at the Presidents Lunch in February and then through controlled communication with the members during the course of the year.

The Chamber undertakes to support the chosen charity with the following:

  • Membership of the Chamber for one year - 1st January to 31st December
  • Logo on own page on the AmCham website
  • Four communication projects during the course of the year directly to the membership base
  • Cash donation to chosen charity on behalf of members presented in February
  • Opportunity to book to attend member functions
  • Opportunity to book to bring guests to member functions
  • Small gift presented on behalf of the chosen charity at the annual Christmas reception
  • Participation in the annual members CSI event in November

Simon Communities across the country provide support and services to between 4,500 and 5,000 individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness every year.
