Through participation in Working Groupss and contributions to submissions for Government, the Chamber keeps Irish decision makers focussed on the factors contributing to the continued attractiveness of Ireland as a location for foreign direct investment.                 Industry Research & Development Group (IRDG)

                IRDG - Industry Research & Development Group, provides information, guidance and assistance to members on research, development and innovation (RD&I) issues, especially on accessing funds. IRDG is the representative group for RD&I performers.   

                The IRDG Enterprise Innovation Network Scheme (EIN) devised by Enterprise Ireland, will provide resources, on a competitive basis, to industry groups to enable them to play a role in promoting innovation, Research and Development to the benefit of Irish industry.   IRDG, the Irish Software Association and  the Construction IT Alliance were awarded contracts. The 3 networks will support more than 1,000 companies in their R&D promotional activities over the next 3 years.
