2019 Research Innovation Awards

The US-Ireland Research Innovation Awards are a joint initiative of the Royal Irish Academy and the American Chamber of Commerce, Ireland. The 2019 Awards will recognise excellence in research innovation, creation and invention by an organisation, as a result of US Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Ireland. These awards acknowledge exemplary ideas, originating in Irish organisations, and underpinned by innovative research, that have a strong social and/or economic impact.
 
Applications for the 2019 US-Ireland Research Innovation Awards are now open. 
The submission deadline is Wednesday 19 December at 5.00pm.

Expressions of interest are invited from:
  • The Irish (island of Ireland) operations of a US headquartered and controlled multinational company

  • Higher Education Institution (HEI) Research Centre or institute based on the island of Ireland with links to the US corporate sector

  • An Irish Micro Enterprise or SME with links to the US corporate sector

The shortlisted nominations will be announced at our inaugural Translatlantic Conference on Thursday 7 March 2019.
The winning organisations will be announced at the American Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner on
 Friday 17 May 2019.
